2nd ICE-BEST is an annual conference collaboration program between Universitas Teknologi Muhammadiyah Jakarta and Research Synergy Foundation. Co-hosted by Institut Bisnis Muhammadiyah Bekasi, Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton, and Management & Science University, Malaysia. The conference aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform for gathering scholars, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate ongoing research related to Economics, Business, Science, and Technology. The conference aims to foster collaboration, exchange knowledge and experience, and promote research excellence and innovation in these areas.
This conference not only give you global forum to share and exchange idea, research, and work. But also, provide wider network and research ecosystem for further collaboration and projects. PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP
Universitas Teknologi Muhammadiyah Jakarta, Research Synergy Foundation, and Research Synergy Institute have successfully organized the Pre-Conference Workshop for the The 2nd International Conference on Economics, Business, Science, and Technology (2nd ICE-BEST). The workshop was held on August 20, 2024, and aimed to encourage the participants to prepare and write globally accepted research papers to be submitted on the upcoming 2nd ICE-BEST that will be held on 30-31 October, 2024.
The workshop was opened by a welcome remarks by Prof. Dr. Lela Nurlaela Wati, SE. MM. CRA. CRP as the Conference Chair of 2nd ICE-BEST, she emphasized how important this workshop for those who want to participate to the upcoming 2nd ICE-BEST, and welcomed all the participants to the workshop.
Then, it was time for the first session of the workshop with the topic of 2nd ICE-BEST Introduction and Scientific Review Process. The topic was delivered by Mrs. Santi Rahmawati, MSM. She is the Founder & Director Global Network Research Synergy Foundation Gateway Advisor F1000Research (Scopus Q1).
The second session of the workshop was about How to Be Globally Accepted in Writing Research Paper: Criteria of Recommendation in Scopus/Peer Review International Journal which was delivered by Ms. Gita Hindrawati, S.Tr, MSM. Ms. Gita Hindrawati is the Managing Director of Research Synergy Institute.
Next, is the third session which was presented by Mrs. Santi Rahmawati, MSM. She is the Founder & Director Global Network Research Synergy Foundation Gateway Advisor F1000Research (Scopus Q1). On this session, the topic was about How to Prepare and Abstract and Journal Papers: A Submission Guideline onhttps://www.researchsynergysystem.com/.
Last but not least, the fourth session of the workshop was the information on How to Address Language Barrier in Conference Proceeding/Journal Publication which was delivered by Ms. Gita Hindrawati, S.Tr., MSM. Ms. Gita Hindrawati as the Managing Director of Research Synergy Institute.
After all the session was done, it was time for a Q&A session. There were several questions from the participants relating to the materials and topics that have been presented.
The Pre-Conference Workshop in the road to the 2nd International Conference on Economics, Business, Science, and Technology (2nd ICE-BEST) was a success. Hopefully, this workshop can encourage those who are interested in submitting their research work to the 2nd ICE-BEST conference.

- SIGN IN at https://www.researchsynergysystem.com/login using a G-mail or email account.
- Choose ROLE as PARTICIPANT.
- Fill in all personal data required (*)
- Add “+ NEW CONFERENCE”, Choose 2nd ICE-BEST
- Continue and Follow the Submission Process in the system until the “SUBMIT” button.
- Monitor your registration status and progress by signing in to your account.
- You will get an announcement by email regarding your paper status. You can directly download the letter of acceptance (LOA), invoice, and content review through your account.
- Make the payment (only after the announcement of abstract acceptance – LOA received) and upload the payment proof through our online system (NOT email).
- Upload your Full paper (after the system confirms payment).
- Create your presentation, then upload it to the system.
- Go to the conference as per schedule.
Note for publication: Please check with any plagiarism detection software and make sure to have only at most a 20% similarity score. Any paper with more than 20% similarity score will not be considered in the publication database unless specified in the proof of similarity score.
FORMATS
Paper for Journal Publication Format
- Manuscript should be contains minimum 5.000 words and should not exceed 7.000 words including embedded figures and tables, contain no appendix, and the file should be in Microsoft Office (.doc/.docx) or Open Office (.odt) format.
- Paper should be in prepared in A4 paper (21cm x 29.7cm) using 2.5 cm for inside margin and 2 cm for top, bottom, and outside margin. No need to alter page number in this template as the page number will be reordered at pre-printing process.
- The title, abstract and main text should be in one column.
- Title should be less than 15 words, title case, small caps, centered, bold, font type Times New Roman (TNR), font size 16, and single spaced.
- The main text of the writing should be in one columns with 1 cm column spacing, justified, 12 TNR, first line indent 5 mm, and 1.5 spaced.
- The manuscript should begin with title, abstract, and keyword and the main text should consist of: Introduction, Literature Review, Research Methodology, Finding and Discussion, Conclusion and Further Research; followed by References

RSF clearly announce the detail of publications process, timeline and information about the journal or publisher directly through email/ website or conference event. The review process will take approximately 7 to 10 working days.
You will receive the article decision (accepted/ accepted with revision/ rejected) from the official email of the conference committee right after the review process is completed. Please check your email at the inbox/ spam folder.
No. Sometimes our announcement goes to your SPAM folder due to email restriction. If you already submitted your article and passed 14 working days, please check the email (inbox and spam folder) and your Research Synergy System account to check the progress. You can always check and monitor (independently) your registration status anytime by login to your Research Synergy System account. Please find and click the “Continue the Submission Process” button for the conference you follow. Every step or status of your submission will be displayed there.

- You need to make a payment for registration fee (you can do it via online or offline). The payment instruction and detail for online/offline are clearly informed in your LOA at the second page.
- Please upload the proof/ receipt of your payment transaction by uploading the receipt in the menu “5. Payment” . If you are not uploading the receipt, we can not change move your status to the next step.
- Waiting for Research Synergy System admin to check your payment and approve it in the system. You can always track your status in your account.
- After the admin approves your payment status, you can upload your full paper for journal publication. You can submit/upload full paper by login to your Research Synergy System account and select the “6. Conference Day” menu under your Participant dashboard. Please upload 2 types of full paper: 1) Complete full paper, and 2) Blind full paper without author details. All the full paper uploaded MUST follow the template required in the conference website.
- Upload your presentation file by login to your Research Synergy System account and select the “PowerPoint Presentation” under the menu of “6. Conference Day”. Maximum size of file upload is 20 MB.
- Finally, the committee will give the journal recommendations that suit your paper quality and context based on the rigorous scientific review process. You can always check your publication progress by login to your Research Synergy System account and select the “8. Post Conference” menu on your Participant dashboard, on the conference you follow.
Yes, you have. There is no need to pay anything before you receive the notification of acceptance of your article/ LOA. Please be noticed; if we do not receive your payment confirmation at the latest deadline (maximum 20 days before the conference date), then we will exclude your participation in the conference. Moreover, you can NOT upload your full paper for journal publication if the payment has not yet been made.
